Areas of Practice

My approach is to create a safe space where we can explore your story, experiences, and goals. Together, through a collaborative relationship, we can determine what the next steps should be so you can achieve your definition of optimal wellness.

You might be feeling uncertain and overwhelmed in a new situation (transitions can be tough!) or maybe you aren’t able to do things in which you once excelled. Maybe you wake up in the middle of the night feeling anxious and restless. Perhaps you are taking care of multiple generations of family members and/or have a family member with disabilities. Guess what? You are not alone! As a therapist, I have the tools that can help you feel more in control.

I provide counseling to those who want to learn to relax, build healthier relationships, set and explore goals, cultivate self compassion, create or improve habits, set healthy boundaries, and more.

If you feel it would be most helpful to include other family members in our discussions, that is your option.

I work with individuals to address a broad range of concerns including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, caregiving, caregiving for an adult child with disabilities, academic stress, transitions, career exploration, body image, relationships, grief, trauma, and more.
